The D2577 is designed to provide all power and control functions for boost, flyback and forward converter switching regulators. Three different output voltage versions are available: 12V, 15V and ADJ. There are few external components, and the chip has a built-in 3.0A NPN power switch tube and related protection circuits, including current and thermal limiting and undervoltage lockout. A built-in 52kHz fixed frequency oscillator requires no external components, soft-start mode to reduce inrush current during start-up, and current-mode control to improve input voltage and output load transient immunity. The input voltage range is 3.5V~40V. This circuit is an ADJ adjustable version output.
