The HCPL06XX optocouplers contain an AlGaAS LED optically coupled to an ultra-high-speed integrated photodetector logic gate (single-channel device) with a strobe output. These devices feature a compact small size encapsulation. This output has an open collector, allowing a wired OR output. The HCPL0600, HCPL0601, and HCPL0611 outputs contain bipolar transistors based on a bipolar process, while the HCPL0637, HCPL0638, and HCPL0639 outputs contain bipolar transistors based on a CMOS process to reduce power consumption. Coupling parameters are guaranteed over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range. Internal noise shielding provides excellent common-mode rejection.
