The monolithic half-bridge gate driver IC FAN7380_OP can drive MOSFETs and IGBTs up to +600V. ON Semiconductor's high-voltage process and common-mode interference suppression technology provide stable operation of the high-side driver under high dv/dt interference conditions. Advanced level shifting circuitry allows high-side gate driver operation up to VS = -9.8V (typ) for VBS = 15V. The input logic levels are compatible with standard TTL family logic gates. Internal shoot-through protection circuitry provides a 100ns dead-time to prevent simultaneous turn-on of the output switching devices during transients. UVLO circuits for both channels prevent faulty operation when VCC and VBS are below specified threshold voltages. Typical source/sink currents of the output driver are 90mA/180mA, respectively, suitable for fluorescent lamp/compact fluorescent lamp ballast applications, and systems requiring low di/dt interference.
