Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device

The FODM121 series, FODM124 and FODM2701 include a Gallium Arsenide Infrared Emitting Diode driving a phototransistor within a compact 4-pin micro-flat encapsulation. Lead spacing is 2.54 mm. The FODM2705 consists of two Gallium Arsenide Infrared Emitting Diodes connected in anti-parallel for AC operation.

The MOC306XM and MOC316XM devices contain a GaAs infrared light-emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector that performs the function of a voltage zero-crossing detection bidirectional triac driver.

The HCPL05XX and HCPL04XX optocouplers consist of an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a high-speed photodetector transistor in a compact 8-pin small-outline encapsulation. A separate connection for photodiode biasing reduces the base-collector capacitance of the input transistor and is orders of magnitude faster than conventional phototransistors. The HCPL04XX devices do not have a lead-bonded substrate for greater noise margin. Each encapsulation of the HCPL053X device has two trenches for optimum packing density.
