Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device
The FOD2711A opto-isolated amplifier includes the popular AZ431L precision programmable shunt voltage reference and optocoupler. The optocoupler is a gallium arsenide (GaAs) light-emitting diode optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor. The reference voltage tolerance is 1%. The range of current transfer ratio (CTR) is 100%-200%. It is primarily used as an error amplifier/reference voltage/optocoupler in isolated AC-to-DC power supplies and DC/DC converters. When using the FOD2712A, power supply designers can reduce the number of components and save space in tight encapsulation designs. Tight tolerance references make adjustments unnecessary in many applications. The device features a compact 8-pin small encapsulation.

The FOD8160 is a 3.3V/5V high-speed logic gate output (open collector output) optocoupler that supports isolated communication, allowing digital signals to communicate between systems without conducting ground loops or hazardous voltages. The device uses Fairchild's proprietary Optoplanar coplanar encapsulation technology to optimize IC design and achieve high noise immunity through high common-mode rejection specifications.
