The NCS2200 series is the industry's first family of sub-one-volt, low-power comparators. These devices consume only 10uA of supply current. The devices are guaranteed to operate at low voltages as low as 0.85V, allowing them to be used in systems requiring 1.0V, and are fully operational at voltages up to 6.0V, making them convenient for use in 3.0V and 5.0V systems as well. Other features include protection from output phase reversal and overdrive inputs, internal hysteresis for clean output switching and rail-to-rail input and output performance, and an extremely small SOT23-5 encapsulation for the NCS2200 series, which is available in eight options with two industry-standard pin-outs. In addition, the NCS2200 and NCS2202 utilize SC70-5 encapsulation, the NCS2200 also utilizes a very small DFN 2x2.2 encapsulation, and the NCS2200A utilizes a UDFN 1.2x1.0 encapsulation. When pin pull-down (output tri-state mode) is enabled, current consumption is typically 0.3%. Current dissipation is typically 0.3uA when pin pull-down (output tri-state mode) is enabled, allowing users to use these devices in power-sensitive applications such as portable electronics.
