The MC74LCXU04 is a high performance unbuffered six-way inverter operating from a 2.3 to 3.6 V supply. High-impedance TTL-compatible inputs significantly reduce input driver current loading, while TTL-compatible outputs improve switching noise performance. The VI specification of 5.5 V enables the MC74LCXU04 inputs to be safely driven from 5 V devices.

MC74AC/ACT05 has the same pinout as LS05. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pull-up resistors, it is compatible with TTL outputs.
