Logic device/transceiver/encoder
The MC74AC540/74ACT540 and MC74AC541/74ACT541 are octal buffer/line drivers that function as memory and address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented transmitter/receivers. The MC74AC541/74ACT541 is a non-inverting option for the MC74AC540/74ACT540. These devices are similar in functionality to the MC74AC240/74ACT240 and MC74AC244/74ACT244, while also offering a flow-through architecture (input on opposite side of output). This pin-out arrangement makes these devices ideal for use as output ports on microprocessors, which simplifies layout and enables better PC board density.

The VCX245 contains eight non-inverting bidirectional buffers with 3-state outputs for bus-oriented applications. The T/R# input determines the data flow. The OE# input places the A and B ports in a high-impedance state, thereby disabling both. The 74VCX245 is suitable for low voltage (1.4V to 3.6V) VCC applications with I/O compatibility up to 3.6V. The 74VCX245 is fabricated using advanced CMOS technology, enabling high-speed operation while maintaining the low power consumption of CMOS.
