The NC7SU04 is a special purpose single CMOS inverter. This inverter circuit has an unbuffered stage and can be used in crystal oscillator applications. It is not intended for use in logic inversion applications. Advanced silicon-gate CMOS fabrication process ensures high-speed, low-power circuit operation over a wide range of VCC. ESD protection diodes are built-in to protect the VCC and GND rails of the input and output.
