Automotive Customization These devices are pin compatible with standard HC405x and MC1405xB analog multiplexer/demultiplexer devices, but with injection current effect control. These devices are therefore particularly suitable for automotive applications, where power supplies above normal logic voltages are common. Injection current effect control allows signals at disabled analog input channels to exceed the supply voltage range without affecting signals at enabled analog channels. Therefore, no external diode/resistor network is required to maintain the analog channel signal within the supply voltage range. These devices use a low-power silicon-gate CMOS process. Channel select and enable inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs.
