Communication interface chip UART485/232

The FSA4157 and FSA4157A are high-performance single-pole double-throw (SPDT) analog switches. Both devices feature an ultra-low on-resistance of 1.15Ω maximum at 4.5V VCC, with a VCC operating range of 1.65V to 5.5V for the FSA4157 and 2.7V to 5.5V for the FSA4157A. The device is fabricated on a sub-micron CMOS process for fast switching and is suitable for break-before-make operation. Select inputs are compatible with TTL levels. The FSA4157A has very low quiescent current even when the control voltage is lower than the VCC voltage. This feature is ideal for mobile handheld applications and provides direct interface to baseband processor general purpose I/O.
